Sheffield Wednesday and One2Call, a managed IT and telecoms services firm, have partnered for the 2024–2025 Championship season.

One2Call will supply technological services to assist the Owls’ daily operations and to promote digital transformation as the club’s sole IT and communications partner.

One2Call’s branding will be prominently displayed during match days on Wednesday’s pitch-side LED boards and on the giant screens at Hillsborough Stadium.

Nick Bass, commercial director at One2Call, said: “As a proud Sheffield-based business and long-time supporter of local sports, we’re thrilled to partner with Sheffield Wednesday. Becoming the club’s official IT & Communications Partner allows us to contribute to their success both on and off the pitch.

“The Owls are an iconic club, and their values of community, teamwork, and excellence align perfectly with our own.”

The club’s marketing manager, James Todd, continued, saying, “At Hillsborough, we’re thrilled to have One2Call as a major partner. The One2Call crew, including Nick and Danny, will play a crucial role by offering their continuous assistance and knowledge in crucial areas in the background. We anticipate a prosperous and profitable working partnership.”

After a spectacular hat-trick, the striker who turned down Sheffield Wednesday is suddenly atop the league’s goal scoring rankings.

While traveling, Sheffield Wednesday defeated Coventry City and was able to resume their winning ways.

The Owls’ lack of confidence in front of goal, particularly when playing away from home, is primarily to blame for their lack of expectation to win all three points against the Sky Blues.

Ike Ugbo, who was benched for Jamal Lowe’s match against Coventry City, has shown a lot of shot confidence lately. Lowe has only scored once this Championship season.

Sheffield Wednesday’s front line is obviously problematic right now, especially with the player leading the line, but things may have turned out quite differently if the Owls had signed one of their former targets, who scored a hat-trick against a Champions League team.

Mika Biereth, a former target for Sheffield Wednesday, scores three goals against RB Salzburg.
Former Owls target Mika Biereth secured their place atop the Austrian Bundesliga with an amazing brace against fellow Champions League team RB Salzburg.

Since the striker was at Arsenal on loan to Scottish Premiership team Motherwell, Rohl was obviously a big fan of the player. However, he rejected a move to the Championship in favor of Sturm Graz in Austria, where he has seven goals in nine games this season (2024–25).

After his impressive performance against RB Salzburg, the 21-year-old Danish player has earned the moniker “thoroughbred striker” from Sturm Graz supporters, according to Abseits.
