Jose Mourinho’s team maintained their title chase and needed a win to put pressure on Galatasaray in the race for the trophy. Fenerbahce easily defeated Bodrumspor, who are battling to avoid relegation.

With one game remaining, they easily defeated Bodrumspor 4–2, falling six points behind Galatasaray.

After Nigeria’s disappointing 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe, Super Eagles star Bright Osayi was benched for Fenerbahce.

Milan Skriniar’s header in the fifth minute gave Fenerbahce the lead. But the home team’s penalty kick in the 31st minute gave them an equaliser.

With a through pass from Youssef En Nesyri to Oguz Aydin, Mourinho’s team took the lead two minutes after the equaliser.

Talisca then added the fourth goal to close out the first half after Sebastian Szymanski doubled Fenerbahce’s lead off a rebound.

The second half was dominated by Fenerbahce, although Bodrumspor added a goal from Fredy’s attempt to make the score 4-2.

Galatasary was under pressure to win the championship as Mourinho’s team hung on until the very end and won handily.
