This summer, Manchester United ought to think about making a move for one of Atalanta’s top players.

At the end of the season, the Red Devils are anticipated to add players to their roster, and manager Ruben Amorim may prioritize acquiring a flexible midfield player.

When Christian Eriksen’s contract expires on June 30, he is expected to leave, while Casemiro may be sold due to his decreased playing time this season.

We wouldn’t be shocked if United made a comeback for Ederson of Atalanta, who was on their radar last summer, in order to replace the two with a youthful and seasoned midfield player.

According to a recent report, the Red Devils are “ready to play their cards” in order to sign the Brazilian. Journalist Filippo Maggi has now revealed the expected cost of the deal.

The midfielder is “very popular,” according to Maggi, who is “very close” to the Atalanta surroundings. It will take between ÂŁ42 million to ÂŁ46 million to prise him away.

Ederson would be a great signing for United
The Red Devils are getting ready for a big summer transfer window. It is probable that Eriksen and Casemiro will depart, and Kobbie Mainoo may follow them out the door.

The club graduate is set to snub the latest contract offer on the table. He is prepared to pursue a new challenge abroad, and United could hold out for as much as £70m.

Ederson would be a fabulous acquisition in the heart of the midfield. The 25-year-old has a tireless work rate and has also excelled with his high pressing.

He has a passing accuracy of 88 percent in Serie A this term, with 5.3 recoveries and 4.9 duels per outing.

Ederson has traits similar to Manuel Ugarte and can operate as a holding or central midfielder. The Brazilian would thrive in the 3-4-2-1 formation under Amorim.

At ÂŁ42m, United could be tempted to revive their long-term interest. Juventus are also keen, but Atalanta could prefer to do business with a foreign club rather than a league rival.

The Bergamo outfit could be willing to negotiate with United. There is a strong working relationship with the Red Devils having signed Rasmus Hojlund and Amad from them.
